Response from Manchester and Salford Ramblers

The Local Plan will help to shape the way the city will meet the need for new development over the next 15 years, and it will set out the priorities against which all planning applications for new development will be judged. We believe that to improve wellbeing, provide attractive places to live and work and tackle health inequalities the plan should promote physical activity and enable access to green spaces.

We have made a detailed submission to the City Council with our views on the importance of footpaths and rights of way and on specific policies for areas throughout the city from Wythenshawe to Moston and back again!
